Old Business
Building was rented to a musician for an album listening party. It went well and we made some connections for future rentals.
Renovation update – lowered the ceiling, cabinets painted, classroom painted. We will be receiving a donated fridge from Jonathan and Kim Headrick. Hopefully we will pick it up next week. We still need to put epoxy on the floor, replace ceiling tiles in the classroom. Install a mini split called a cube that will heat and cool the lobby and restrooms. It is about $2800.00. If we install this, we can use the existing ductwork. Down the line we want to get another Mini split for the two classrooms. If we replace the hot water heater for electric, we can eliminate the gas.
New Business
Future renovations include reworking the concrete in front of the building into a shallow ramp and doing dirt work to change the grade
We are looking at a 3-tier system of renting: residential, out of Peck, and commercial. Possibly renting by the hour with a minimum of 2 hours.
Miscellaneous Business –
Woody thanked everyone for everything they have done to renovate the building. We had 20 volunteers show up to do the ceiling.
Kim Headrick mentioned that it is a good thing to have volunteer opportunities for the community to get involved.
Sam suggested a sausage/pancake breakfast each month for fundraising.
