COMMITTEE REPORTS:
December Craft Show- Janice Stroud (not present)
Car Show – David Boller (not present)
Calendar - Bryan Bell – We had 4 rentals scheduled for February. Everything went well. At this time we have 5 rentals scheduled for March.
Old Business
Sam – We need to start advertising in local communities for graduation and alumni parties this spring.
We also need to advertise the car show. Roxana will do that tomorrow after she sets up the online registration.
Signs have been made and are now posted in the ladies’ room about not flushing anything but toilet paper.
There is a buyer for the A/C and heater in the storage room. He will pay $450. There is also a women interested in the table and chairs in the storage room.
A draft of the flier has been made. We will be accepting all vehicles at the car show, so the flier needs to be changed.
New Business
We have a leak in the bathroom wall between the men's and ladies’ rooms, so we will need to replumb both bathrooms. While we are at it, we will replace the water heater with an electric one. We estimate that total cost will be around $1500.00. We need to get this done in the next month. We will use that time to also replace the tiles and lights in those two rooms. Eventually we will also need to replace the toilets in the women’s restroom.
Sam has made Car Show signs and put them at the corner of Broadway and 199th, in the center’s yard, and at Boudreaux’s. We need to make some for Mulvane and Clearwater. Sam wants to make a Peck Community Center sign that will hang above the windows in the west room.
