COMMITTEE REPORTS:
December Craft Show- Janice Stroud (not present)
Calendar - Bryan Bell – Rentals in December and January totaled 13. We have 4 rentals scheduled for February.
Old Business
1. The tiles were not laid over Christmas break because of the weather and the center being rented almost every weekend. We will try to get it done before the car show. We just need to round up some volunteers. It shouldn’t take more than a couple of days.
2. We should know by the next meeting if we have sold another AC from the storage room.
3. This year we would like to close off a part of the lobby for a storage room and close off the doorway.
4. New prices have been well received by renters, both the classroom and the banquet room. No complaints.
New Business
1. David – We need to put a committee together to work on the car show. Chris May sent our information to the Mulvane Marauders so that we are on their calendar. We will need to start working on fliers. Roxana volunteered to help gather prizes for this year.
Several people are already asking if we are doing it again. Bryan asked that the committees be formed before the next meeting.
2. We have removed the baby wipes from the women’s restroom changing table because someone flushed a bunch down the toilet. It cost PID $800 to clean out the sewer. If it happens again, we will have to cover the cost.
3. Bryan will call KDHE to negotiate raising their quarterly cost.
