City Wide garage sale dates have been changed. It is now July 12-13 with set up on July 11. Sam - How many are lined up for it? There are six houses in Peck that will be having garage sales. There are also people wanting to donate stuff. We need them to drop it off on July 11 from 8 - 4 pm. . I have some volunteers for the mornings and some for the afternoon. David suggested that there be a signup sheet for tables and donations. Motion to continue with a garage sale by David Boller. Seconded by Bryan Bell. Passed.

Christmas Fair - December 7, 2024.

Old Business
Lucretia and Roxana are going to the IRS tomorrow morning. The person Lucretia talked to said they had to dissolve their company and start a new one. I tried to make an appointment, but was not successful so we are just going to show up. If this doesn’t work, I will contact a couple of lawyers who I have been given.
The donated television has been put up. Roxana will donate an HDMI cord to be kept at the center.
We received a donated refrigerator from Jonathan and Kim Headrick. It looks so good.
Bingo - Sam - If we make up fliers, he will distribute them.
Bear also made a rental information sign for the front window.
Dhon STewart said he has 10 people signed up for snaring and trapping. They are doing several things to advertise the event. Can we also offer a lunch package like we are doing for the Hunter Education class? Bryan agreed that we can definitely do that.
New Business
Bryan talked to the state and we know what the problem is, but it isn’t processed, yet. Today, Bryan left a voicemail, but he didn’t call back. Even though we filed the paperwork to change owners, it was lost or never processed. We sent a copy to them and that is what we are waiting on.
Dhon Stewart spoke about the trapping class that will be August 10. He has about 10 people signed up so far, but with over a month to go, more will probably attend. He asked that we provide a meal deal like the one we are doing for the Hunter Education class and the board agreed. Since the last meeting Dhon took a class to become a wildlife control officer. And he took a trapper’s ed course online. He can now do a certified course. It’s just easier to do it online. An in person class would require 15 participants. Janice asked for fliers to put out at the garage sale. Sam Bell said he would also put some out.
2. AJ Miranda spoke. He has a little mechanic shop outside of town behind Bear Petroleum.. He can do anything from small to large projects. If you need anything done, I’ll leave business cards here and you can call me.
Miscellaneous Business
Janice got a phone call from a man who wanted to camp out behind the community center. She told him no, but he could ask the casino if they could park there.
Our next meeting will be July 29, 2024, 7:00 p.m. at the Peck Community Center
Motioned to adjourn by Julie Bell; seconded by Woody Stitt. Passed.
Meeting adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
